CollectionService is one of the best #RobloxDev features and I'm so glad we have it. One of those rare additions that made workflow & scripting so much less of a headache for certain things. Being able to tag objects/GUI elements/etc and have them act a certain way just rules.

I don't really understand use cases tbh. Since I can't tag manually tag in workspace / studio (like Unity) I basically assign classes when instantiating objects, so it hasn't seemed to make sense to tag things when I know they're being created anyway

With collectionservice you don't have to hard code references to certain objects parented throughout different areas of your game, which makes it especially useful if they already exist in the workspace when the server is ran

But I only ever instantiate / create new objects when I would know what they are, so the references can be hardcoded if you get what I mean?
