The backstory behind this is sad: tl;dr the Lottery in the UK makes a ton of money + was planning to give £500K to the trans charity. A famous anti-trans TV writer (wrote IT Crowd and Father Ted) started a campaign to stop this, and the lottery decided to withdraw the funding

The Lottery is re-reviewing it but there's still a good chance they'll get it. Ultimately it's likely all Glinner did was get massive monetary support and lots of us trans people are seeing there's actually a lot of support for us out there <3

Wow, hopefully they will still donate it! The Lottery is a national scheme so they have to take complaints seriously, but I bet a lot of people messaged their support to (I have). That would be the best outcome, sorry you have to deal with ignorant people making life harder
