A tech industry failing is that companies only sign deals, exchanging ad hoc bundles of goods and money. We also need treaties. The major failings of the era are from a lack of immutable principles on the rights of all ecosystem participants.

I support everyone’s right to advocate for their rights, alone or together, but I don’t endorse granting any form of monopoly on such advocacy. Each individual should be free to decide what efforts they want to participate in.
