Some people are missing the point: it's not about it being 1:1 in feed on mobile, its about it being 1:1 when you click to expand, which people will if you use a good tagline, and also on your page. There's a reason they're slicing the sides off all their beautiful movie trailers

Would be cool if you could render two versions. One at a standard 16:9 for desktop and another at a phones aspect ratio and then depending on what device you're on you get the one tailored for you.
