11) Structure your sentences and paragraphs to front load information. This makes it easier to skim. Headings make it even easier. If a reader is skimming for a paragraph about weapon upgrades, makes it easier for them if you start "We're adding 6 new Weapon Upgrades."

12) Comms isn't art, it's data transfer. Sure, it can be entertaining or artistic, but its primary purpose is to get something from your head into their head. Everything in the piece should live in service to that

15) Formatting is a crutch, but it works. If you make something 72pt font, people won't skip it. If you make something bright red, people will be drawn to it. Graphics are useful too. Use sparingly and strategically

was chatting to someone on slack and I realised maybe I could help others in a small way, I know I struggled when I first started to figure out what works (I would end up writing massive meandering posts that nobody read)
