2) Visual aids are massively important to break up the flow of text. 3 paragraphs = disgusting, but one paragraph followed by a screenshot or gif allows for a little mental break and reduces drop-off. Also helps skimmers find their most valuable information

5) Figure out the message you want to convey, then write around that. For instance, if the only purpose of your post is to tell the audience a release date, literally put it at the top. Dont have a funny little intro that ppl skip. Convey the point as fast + minimally as possible

6) If you ever feel like you need to write more, you actually need to write less. Cut what you have in half. Every extra word means more readers dropping off or tuning out. Much like Twitter, you'll often find in editing that you didn't need all those extra words anyway
