I watched the entire @joerogan interview with @elonmusk - It's interesting from an investors point of view.
Weed - Bearish (although I'm all for it, others won't be)
Tesla capabilities bragged but not explained - Bullish
Mental state of Elon - Bearish

Comes across as hugely unstable to me. Surely will be reflected in markets. This is not what a sensible, in-control CEO would have been doing - there's nothing wrong with smoking obviously, but the whole thing seems like a downward spiral

Yeah, that's the part I just elaborated on a bit, tweets are too short! I broadly agree, it's a good podcast for him to hang out on and talk about cool tech and stuff, but frankly it was depressing to watch. He clearly has some underlying depression and problems turning off.

Replying to @jaynemesis @tactful and
Talking about simulation theory, about flying cars, the boring company, tesla, mars - all fine. But the discussions about AI, the future of humanity, how his brain works and some of the brutal honestly of "people should be nicer" were all painful to watch. A CEO losing control.

totally agree. going on a podcast as a CEO to chat freely about topics that interest you: totally fine. can be super valuable even. but the rest is messy. if he were at a different company with a different fanbase I'm sure the board would be voting to replace already

Yep, luckily for him, Tesla is broadly considered Elons baby, and the stock would plummet if he were replaced. Recently though, his actions have caused some of that to be priced into the stock. I myself closed my positions over concerns that it's becoming a viable solution now.

yeah, I said basically the same to nick. he's seen as so essential that he'd have to seriously jeopardize the company financially or legally before they'd dare consider replacing. probable wise to close and shift elsewhere and see how it all shakes out
