I can't believe I'm arguing with people on Reddit about whether or not Elon Musk and others can work for 17 hours straight and be productive. People are genuinely telling me you can work for 17 hours in a row at full productivity lmao, as if by hour 9 you wouldn't be at ~10%
It's a myth perpetuated by people who also believe you can crunch and be productive. Crunch isn't productive. Working long hours isn't productive. There's no point in working 17 hours when you're gonna tail off in the 2nd half, you might as well sleep and come back in the morning

Not saying that I agree with what everyone on Reddit is saying. I do agree that crunching is not ideal and the quality of work will improve when you get enough sleep and have control over your body. However, you can still be -productive-.
