      So far I have run around on really hot planets unable to do basic stuff because I just die after a few minutes even after cooling off in the ship

      They start you on a planet with a hazard to teach you basic mechanics. Re-roll a new character if it's really that bad

      Ohhh, yeah don't do that lol. Normal still has hazards and such. Survival is "Limited Resources Very Hard mode" basically, for the masochists
