I haven't read it, but I bet there's still good things to be learned from reading it. I only ask that people who hold it up as some beacon of essential leadership literature know the whole story and recognize the author's greed and manipulation.
I was going to ask you about this - I fully accept that Ed Catmull as an actual employer was problematic, but the book gives specific and valuable tips for building a creative outfit, and I often struggle to reconcile that against the fact he was reportedly not a good employer
