all game devs, particularly the ones immersed and surrounded by colleagues, friends, spouses and peers that work in + talk about games constantly, would benefit from doing some customer support tickets or something front facing. Help with humility, empathy, consideration

had a ticket once from a difficult customer. Took hours + I was angry they couldnt follow simple instructions. Afterwards they thanked me profusely saying "I'm 90 years old + trying to connect with my grandson through this Minecraft thing he loves." Haven't lost my patience since
