Jen's slides, in particular (https://noti.st/jensimmons/QOEOYT/three-topics#srFUYHC …), give a ton of distinct use-cases that make me just go "duh, of *course* we need this".
Need to figure out some details, like how shadow DOM (which kinda has a "nested origin" thing going on) interacts with it, and just what the syntax would look like, but I'm very excited by the promise of this idea, and how it'll make a lot of common specificity-fights go away.
