i was in the boy scouts as a boy, but we never went camping so i never got any cool rope tying or stuff cooking badges. the irony is that it was already pretty gay if you ask me.

I was in scouts and went camping all the time, was a relatively positive role mode to dozens of younger dudes, got inducted into its (useless) secret society, maxed out my ranks, and retained none of the knowledge or friendships from that entire time
Was in scouts for many years, got a joke published in Boys' Life, camped a lot, sold a ton of fundraising stuff, then moved to a new area where the troop was run by jerks obsessed with winning, left and never did another scout thing in my life
