When a violent criminal is committing a string of crimes, what is there to say? "Violent crimes are bad and this is just terrible!" should go without saying, yet it seems if you don't say it then you are presumed to be indifferent
Here's what everyone is actually thinking: "I hope they catch the bad guy and I hope his political and cultural agenda is nothing like mine"
