If the ATF goes away tomorrow, it'd become a whole lot easier for people to safely arm themselves to help defend their lives, property, and community, as well as encourage the rest of the Alphabet Soup to kick rocks.

If the DHHR or USDA goes away tomorrow, well, we're going to need to invent community solutions for a fuckload more hungry and/or homeless people, right quick in a hurry.

If you really want to call me a fake anarchist, statefag, lawcuck, hypocrite, or whatever else you caption with the screenshots on private accounts and group DMs, I guess have fun.

I don't vote. I don't lobby. I don't give money to political groups. I try to buy second-hand, and not support corpos that do those very things. I don't call the cops or snitch to the Feds.

I try to live where the state is weak. I try to encourage other people to exploit Leviathan's blindspots. Even those that don't share my views. I guess. Begrudgingly. Some of this thread is me talking to myself.

At the end of the day though, I should, and all principled people should, expect our principles to be used against us. Not everybody is magnanimous and altruistic about The One Ring.

There's no magic bullet, no Amon Amarth, no charismatic leader coming to save us from the state. We have to be ready for it to get worse, fail, and collapse in any number of ways. Hopefully it happens in a way where our principles aren't compromised.

But I'm not going to tell what I consider to be a lie: "all state shrinking is equally good." All state shrinking is good, but some state shrinking before others is better. Be wary of people who claim otherwise.
