There’s a guy in the wasm world who:
Touched me in a prolonged, overly-familiar way at a wasm event, making me uncomfortable
Then tweeted about me for International Women’s Day (to get those RTs, I’m sure)
While unfollowing me that same week
Don’t be that guy

Pro tips for you dude bro: Don’t touch women without being invited to do so. Stop messaging people and being a creep. Lin doesn’t owe you shit. In short: stop.

With all respect
@benschwarz, you don't know me. I'm highly respectful with everyone: women and men. I agree, that no one owes me anything, but I just want to find a path forward to resolve this - Još 7 drugih odgovora

So I assumed you referred to someone else. Lets clarify: 1. We met in React Conf'16 (I presented Graphene) 2. I followed you right after and unfollowed 6 months after (I usually unfollow if there is no reciprocity) 3. I deeply respect everyone: no mater the gender or ethnicity

I believe your policy of unfollowing if there is no reciprocity is a huge factor in why this situation arose in the first. Being an ally is never transactional. You *cannot* be an effective ally without *just listening* and reflecting. You can’t do that when seeking quid pro quo

“to try to call them out” Say it’s not you she’s referring to; don’t you think doing so will result in this person retaliating against her?

1) Why did you call her disgusting? When someone has a problem with you, it is not disgusting. It is normal. It happens sometimes. 2) Why did you bring this into public view? She gave you the dignity of not mentioning your name, but you removed that dignity.
