This would be awesome. Pay to suspend, pay to get “out of jail”.
Run each as an auction.

Could it really be over in 3 days?
I did exactly the same thing. Swabbed my throat, then nose. Two tests taken hours apart came out negative.
Let’s see what tomorrow looks like.

My immunity is severely compromised, so it was expected. Still, sucks.

I am confused by car dealerships not preparing for doom and gloom with the proliferation of EVs.
Dealerships make majority of their profit and big chunk of their revenue off of service but there is almost none for EVs.
This is going to be interesting to watch.

Imagine feeding ChatGPT with all Slack/email/… conversation of a single company. Then letting it to chat with candidates and picking ones that will fit well into the existing org.
I am not sure how would it do with biases and diversity. But intriguing though experiment.

Injecting human brain cells into rats causes them to "take over" the rat brains and improve their memory. In this study, rats with human glial (precursor brain) cells were able to navigate a maze over twice as fast.

We're still better at reading DNA vs. writing DNA.
That's because sequencing costs are dropping faster than synthesis costs.
Who is working on gene/oligo synthesis now?

It was six years ago, and my mate, Pink, had just been told he was going to die. He accepted the news with a grace I can only marvel at, but he said he’d a list of things he’d still like to do.
We sat in a pub one night and read it over. Eight things? Four months? Ok. Deal.

How do I know that the micromobility will have significant impact in US? Dozens of children riding ebikes to/from school every day.
Sooner or later they become adults deciding policies. Similarly with my generation and our relationship with gaming and computers.

I want to drive home how impossible "Sudden Unintended Acceleration" is in a Tesla, why any issue with the autopilot/FSD system can't do this, and a few other myths and technical aspects of this whole thing in a thread.🧵 (Which ended up longer than expected.)

One maybe not well understood consequence of the big tech layoffs is that many startups will look the replace their current workers with the newly available people.
The hiring market was super weak last few years. Unprecedented talent is now available.

In trying to source amazing female engineers to apply for our open Founding Engineer role, I've been posting in many "women in tech" type groups.
So far 0 women applied, but 4 women referred their husbands.
🤔 Anyone have an alternate idea?
