      This is very cool, but I am curious: why the decision to make the reader on the side rather than where the candy comes out?

      just there temporarily, gotta come up with an idea for decorating and somewhere to place the sensor that makes sense to wave your hand in front of it. might also attach a tube that the candy can slide down into peoples hands. open to suggestions!!

      Probably a better idea to have the candy slide out of a tube Into hands/buckets because grabbing it at the bottoms defeats the purpose
