Looks like I need to pick up a new 8tb hard drive. Video/photo folks: needs to be fast (7200rpm) and very reliable. Any suggestions?
speeds wont increase over usbc/tb3. drive can only spin so fast hence using usb3 version . they get around 225 MB/s as advertised. recommend formatting on a mac first if bouncing from mac to pc with exfat.
