      I've always used LaCie but might possibly switch over. I think I need to get the thunderbolt 3 version though

      they have usbc version for a bit more. have 50+ of these bit still double up for redundancy.

      havent had one fail yet, but double up regardless, its a spinning drive. lacie is just seagate in a slick enclosure.
