    Really helpful thread for independent recording artists &/or songwriters. Breaks down the diff. types of copyright (composition vs. recording); the diff. types of royalties you can & should be collecting; & the resources to help make that happen (performing rights/royalty orgs).

    Confusing fact: Spotify and similar services pay out 3 types of royalties. And because not artist knows this, many are missing out on the royalties they've earned.

    I love the fact that the model cycles presets (and sound packs I have) aren't too basic and usually have some lfo modulation going on to add more variety when making a pattern. Some groovebox presets tend to be pretty boring imo.
