2 years ago, an animation studio contacts me for a collaboration and invites me to meet them. The discussion starts with this: - So what are you doing in life? - Well... I am concept-artist - No I mean like real job. - Concept-artist... - No no, not your hobby, your day job!https://twitter.com/bombsfall/status/1052208892787220480 …

I specify that it's a studio which has already produced two films and different animated TVshow. The conversation was surreal, they didn't understand why I refused to make free trial days.

I forgot to say that when I entered into their office, they put a statuette in front of my face. I asked what it was. "Our emmy award !"

I received some questions from this story : Silly talk during the interview is a strategy levelling down the pay. They mistook me for a naive junior who will be happy to work in any condition. When we take people for idiots, we become it :)

"naive junior happy to work in any condition" is a sad truth.....C'était en France ?
