Appreciate the sentiment, and agree that going outside your comfort zone is important, but there should be no shame in returning to it after experimentation, or in being angry at teachers who put down the things that inspire you.

Hmmm... that's a fair point, certainly for me since I'm not in education or dealing with these problems directly any more. I was thinking more on behalf of people still in those situations.

To be even clearer: I had my narcissistic injuries, it takes time, but we heal. The best way not to suffer from his art is not to take everything seriously. That's why I recommended it, it's just a personnal opinion.
