It started happening after the update to iOS 13 and has persisted with 13.1. YouTube reports it’s version as 14.40.2, and has no updates available in the App Store. It has all the permissions necessary. I think this is a regression in @Apple iOS 13.pic.twitter.com/3FDLBsycvX

I updated to iOS 13.1.3, & problem persists. My husbands phone also has this behavior after upgrading to iOS 13. The second the lock screen appears, or pause playing media (Apple Podcasts, Youtube, tidal), the apps are aggressively killed. It’s ruining my use of
