I tried ch, but ended up using em. I had a reason but I cannot remember it... ><

josh comeau had a good one for using px - wanting to align body text with header/footer when they are at different font sizes! for ems it seems like the argument is 'ch' is unpredictable for non monospace.

em is much more common than ch as a relative unit of measure. ch is kinda weird to me for non-monospace fonts.

i know em is common for font size, but never seen em's used with max-width! idk why. do you have a go-to max-width em you use?
