I am delighted to have secured the MPs' nominations needed to get on the ballot. I would like to thank all the MPs who nominated me. And a big thank you to all the members who showed such support and solidarity. You are the core of our movement. 🌹✊

Jeremy Corbyn to Trafalgar Square, London, now: “We cannot go on being bystanders of conflict after conflict with tens of thousands dying and millions more living out their lives as refugees, and with terrorism as a result”

“You can argue about whether this is prelude to war, but it is an act of war, you don’t assassinate a top general without it being something where you know there’s going to be serious consequences.” -

The US assassination of Qasem Soleimani is an extremely serious and dangerous escalation of conflict with global significance. The UK government should urge restraint on the part of both Iran and the US, and stand up to the belligerent actions and rhetoric coming from the US.

Day 3 without internet in Assam. To be continued indefinitely until further notice I’m told. Spending £1.75 per minute to speak to my mum because I’m based on London. Will you pay my phone bill as I am a student and hence poor.

Labour ran the cleanest campaign in one of the dirtiest elections in living memory. If anyone can’t see that the result is corrupt & stinks, then you need to have a long serious think to your future because democracy died this year. The media bias was thick in the air like death!

If some accuse me of talking to both sides in the Brexit debate then so be it. I’m proud of it. Why would I only want to talk to half the country? I don’t want to live in half a country. A prime minister must talk and listen to everyone - and bring our divided country together.

Sixteen years ago, I warned the invasion and occupation of Iraq would set off a spiral of conflict and hate that would fuel the wars, terrorism and misery of future generations.

"We try not to eat a lot in one day, even though most of us are really hungry." This sentence should never be uttered by any child, let alone one living in the 5th richest country in the world. Make no mistake, the Tories are responsible for this.
