There is also medically documented evidence that the benefits of circumcision are miniscule and don't come anywhere close to outweighing the detriments. For example, cutting into a baby's genitals before its immune system is fully formed and then shoving them into a diaper.

Alright. Let's play the human rights game. Let's say that the courts decided I have a right to break a bottle and stab you in the face with it. Does that mean I actually have the right, or does it mean the courts are just unqualified to decide?

Why would they institute a law like that? There’s no justification for that. I’d leave the country.

What? But there are so many medical benefits for it! It enables bloodletting, which reduces the risk of catching an infectious disease! If you look it up you'll see that the medical community is one hundred percent behind the procedure, so you have no reason to be angry.

I mean this is a dramatic example, but you can see how my claim makes an appeal to authority seem absurd, can't you?
