    Trees are key to mitigating climate change: they remove carbon dioxide from the air, store carbon in the soil & release oxygen.

    Thanks to the House Bonding Committee for stopping by the State Forest Nursery today. staff are passionate about growing trees and did a great job explaining nursery operations and needs.

    It was another chilly morning with frosty conditions on parts of the Iron Range. Hibbing was 30° and Embarrass was 29°. MSP airport was a little warmer at 48° compared to 46° yesterday. We’re on our way to the low to mid 70s with temps already a few degrees warmer.
