I don't get the "luckily, credit card numbers were not found in the database" thinking. Lucky a number that is only tenuously linked to you and is easily and often changed, unlike your name, address, or DOB?

Yeah, my CC number (where you usually have a good fraud protection nowadays) would be the least of my worries in this case, compared to all the other PII exposed.
