    Sorry to keep on about it, but the 🇬🇧 relations with rest of 🌏 post-Brexit are not getting enough attention currently. This stuff is vitally important in general, but not least because these issues cannot be solved with a transition period with 🇬🇧 outside 🇪🇺. 1/10

    Nice bloke at Heathrow currency exchange desk asks whether Brexit will be good for my industry. When I said no, disastrous, he said he asks everyone the same question: and Every. Single. Person gives the same answer. But a bunch of Old Etonian conmen think they know better.

    The UK leaving the single market and customs union will result in mandatory customs and sanitary checks at Calais. This could lead to tailbacks by up to 30 miles, resulting in food rotting and subsequent potential food shortages with 70% of UK food imports coming through Calais.
