No one is giving us guidelines. CDC isn’t testing except in certain cities. They are telling us to not wear masks. Hospitals aren’t getting clear direction. There are shortages of PPE. It’s a mess.

Let’s talk first responders. I’m a nurse. I’ve been through the Ebola & H1N1 scares. This is the first time the government has given us NO direction. During H1N1 our county health dept sent letters & had meetings w/ all first responders. This time nobody knows what to do.

    3. This isn't just about accountability. It's about drawing attention to the structural problems in the US response effort before things get worse. Why isn't the House holding hearings right now? More to come in my newsletter. Sign up ➡️

    2. Trump also cut funding for the CDC, forcing the CDC to cancel its efforts to help countries prevent infectious-disease threats from becoming epidemics in 39 of 49 countries in 2018. Among the countries abandoned? China.

There was a time when I considered whether the Dem Party really wanted me to belong to it. Time and again I was told the progressive future I wanted was too big, too bold, too soon. But now I feel seen. This Party is changing for the better. Thank you Sen. Sanders.

Do NOT tell me how much better is than ! Do NOT tell me if he wins the nomination I have to support him. What I have to do is protect my 19 year old son. What I have to do is fight fearlessly for black & brown communities against people like him.

. I've been a donor and listener for over fifty years. I haven't been able to listen in the past several months because of your boycott/minimization of Bernie Sanders' campaign. I turned to NPR this morning, and what do I hear? You criticizing him again. I'm done with you now

BAD: Bernie is 78, has stents, caucuses with Dems, and is a millionaire from writing books. GOOD: Bloomberg is 78, has stents, was Republican, spoke at the GOP convention, funds Republicans, defended Stop & Frisk 3 yrs ago, has 40 sexual harassment lawsuits, & is a billionaire.

SCOOP: and I obtained a memo indicating that, as part of Trump's massive privatization blitz, VA nurses are set to be lent out to private for-profit hospitals (!?!)
