    This is totally wrong headed. If it's my best friend and his son is gonna go fatherless, what am I supposed to do? What if I'm his godfather or his only male uncle? Why did Julius Caesar raise Augustus? Men raise other men's kids all the time.

    Ppl get put into bad spots and make bad decisions. It's called being human. It happens to both men and women. You can be w/a single mom and not be a total dunce about it by using common sense. The problem is a lack of sense by men, not women being single.

    I greatly caution men when they’re considering marrying a single mother. A lot of well-meaning naïve men have found themselves in a terrible marriage (or worse) because they failed to ask the obvious question: “Why is she single with a kid?”

    Dude, you're basically telling men not to raise other boys and girls into men and women. You need to reevaluate your morals. I get it if guys don't wanna date single moms cuz they have other priorities that obviously need to come first, but this is too much.

    I’m preparing for onslaught of white knights who deny female agency and see women only as passive victims. Scripture doesn’t do that. But soft Evangelical men do. Some single mothers are loose women. It’s that simple.

    I haven't gotten really, really ill from something like the flu in a very long time (back in college, I got H1N1 and was KOd for a week). If I have gotten really ill, it's usually from a bacterial infection from abroad.

    Crazy thing is that we've already had what's been a pretty terrible flu season. For those not used to it or properly immunized, I'm sure they've been KOd w/a very sick infection.

    Elevated activity is expected to continue for weeks. CDC recommends prompt treatment with antivirals for people who have suspected flu infection and who are at high risk of serious flu complications:

    An evidence based approach relying on moderation guarantees the worst case scenario you so desperately want to prevent. If you get enough data on a later stage that shows the risks aren't as great as thought, it's easy to take the foot off the gas. Vice-versa and you're fucked.

    When you're fighting a pandemic, the best and most wise course of action is to be as extreme as possible, as decisive as possible, and to ensure effectiveness of what you're tryna. What you don't want is to take an "evidence based" approach relying on "moderation".

    Just learned from a friend that more than 50 of the 200 members of her (illegal) church in Wuhan have the . If we extrapolate this 25% number for the 11 million people in Wuhan we are talking about 2+ million cases. Can this be?

    And seriously, the amount of hard training and consistency that went into being able to move like those women at that age is a testament to their work ethic and discipline. I'd also bet the amount of involvement in sex work is much higher in bodybuilding than in dance.

    Terrible take. 1. You can't remove sexuality from dance. And being able to move like the way Shakira and JLo were is very impressive. 2. Most ppl'd hurt themselves if they tried to move like that cuz they're unathletic and fat. 3. Those women would be fun to teach how to fight

    Take a look at any of the major music/movie/tv award shows, and what you see is an indication that prostitution of sexual energy is favored over artistic talent and expression. It's not new, but it's has reached a new level of emphasis, and the ramifications are significant.
