Hospitals are not overwhelmed; most of us will be exposed anyway since we can’t sequester until there’s a vax; and we know which groups need protection from worst outcomes. Is the public health benefit from broad lockdowns at this point worth such extreme damage to livelihoods?

I, along with thousands of colleagues from around the world congregated on platforms discussing real life hardships in Healthcare and ways we can improve it instead of relying on a supply chain that is not reliable, agree with Susan here, Lloyd.

Not to mention the fact that there are periodic shortages of testing kits. We never know if we’ll get enough to meet the day’s demand. Current supply chain is unreliable.

I've talked to 2 nurses, one who works directly w covid patients in long term living facility and one in an ER in a large hospital. Both in 3rd biggest metro of US, it's a ghost town, they're in favor of reopening.

99.8% survival chance with no underlying conditions, Susan. Up to 61,000 deaths annually from influenza as well as 10’s of thousands of pediatric deaths yet never any lockdowns.pic.twitter.com/Swz9r30jMP
