Today’s Supreme Court ruling means that now in Kentucky, a 12-year-old girl who is raped and impregnated by her father, has no options.
It is unconscionable that this extreme, total ban provides no exception for that child or any other survivors of rape or incest. ^JC

Son #1 ran off and got married this summer to one of the most awesome women I've ever met. I get to call my daughter now, and I couldn't be more thrilled.
One downside of climate change is it's hard to complain about your 100 degree day when places have supercell storms, floods taking out roads, and a foot of hail in a tropical city. I just want my little southern lady with a fan moment where I do declare it's hot.

Amber will probably be okay, but the woman across the street who has to convince the police she needs protection, doesn't need the police to hear over and over again how women are liars. She doesn't need her abuser to hear that people don't believe women so he has free reign.

I could be wrong, but I've only seen this amount of vitriol toward women, especially when sex or sexual behavior is involved. Megan Markle, Anita Hill, Monica Lewinsky, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, even Paris freakin' Hilton.
