@CAgovernor @GavinNewsom still trying to convince ppl to wear masks.. Where's the rigorous tactical emergency response? CA prisons like #SanQuentin + CIM are some of the largest COVID clusters in the US & no word still of mass release. We're not settling for a PR video abt masks.
To be clear, folks should wear masks. The fact that @GavinNewsom team can't even get folks to understand basic public health protocol & is still spending their time, resources on such basic health educ when we need a much more exhaustive govt response is enraging. No leadership.
So many families that could have been reunited during quarantine who were victims of heinous Three Strikes laws and private prison quotas. This is state violence.
TBH, I live in CA & seeing the shitshow in other pts of the country...it could be so much worse. Which isn't saying much since there's so many things that went wrong here.
