Quick note on donations - ppl apologize often for not being able to donate or making "small" donations, but we truly appreciate every single contribution, including boosts. Capitalism tells us we must individually bear the burden of making things *all right* but this is a trap!
For many, sustained support in smaller amounts across a variety of grassroots efforts (even $5-10/month for 1 yr+ comes out to be sizable, esp when many more ppl are doing this) can often provide a more ethical, grounded experience of redistributing. Just something to think abt!

Life W/O Parole (LWOP) is #DeathbyIncarceration & racist, anti-women, anti-youth extreme sentencing. There are roughly 5200+ ppl on LWOP in CA. LWOP & other extreme sentencing disappears survivors of GBV into the punishment system at an alarming rate. We need to #DropLWOP!pic.twitter.com/a4vqhDqgxM
The majority of people serving LWOP in CA women's prisons are survivors of abuse. Vast majority were sentenced to LWOP under the Felony Murder Rule, meaning many were coerced by their abusers to be an "accomplice." @GavinNewsom #DropLWOP & end the culture of perpetual punishment.
Many formerly & currently incarcerated members of S&P were sentenced to LWOP bc CA doles out not just punishment but *extreme* punishment to survivors for the ways they choose to survive violence+abuse w/ little or no support.
@GavinNewsom #DropLWOP & commute these sentences.
