@LADWP has refused to provide water to this family for the past 7 months because they claim the family needs to pay off the past tenant's debt! The family has provided LADWP a letter from the landlord and a lease, proving their move-in date w/ no success. Now we're in a pandemic.
The family has children & was forced to turn on the water themselves to try to care for & protect themselves. They want to pay for the water they've used since they began renting the unit, but @LADWP refuses to work w/ them to find an affordable, fair, safe solution #Moms4Housing
