Recently, we've seen ICE target and arrest survivors at courthouses, who have shown up to access legal remedies like a restraining order. This is yet another weapon added to the arsenal of abuse #AbolishICE #FreeThemAll #SurvivedAndPunished

Example: Last year, Ms. Gonzalez, a trans undocumented woman from TX, was arrested at the courthouse while seeking a protective order. It's widely believed that her abuser tipped off ICE to make the arrest #SurvivedAndPunished #AbolishICE #FreeThemAll

Queer&trans folx migrating to the US to flee from homophobia and transphobia are criminalized for survival and disproportionately experience violence while incarcerated including solitary confinement #SurvivedAndPunished #FreeThemAll #AbolishICE

In abusive relationships with immigrant survivors, abuser will withold legal docs and $ necessary to adjust immigration status, threaten to deport by calling cops or ICE, weaponize limited English proficiency in courts, etc. #SurvivedAndPunished #FreeThemAll #AbolishICE
