Just in: 50 US military personnel have now been diagnosed with concussions and TBI following the Iranian missile attack Iraq earlier this month, according to DoD. That's an increase of 16 from late last week when the Pentagon said 34 cases. 31 total returned to duty.

I do veteran to veteran mentoring in a volunteer program. One of my guys was severely affected, I wish I could do more to help him and he keeps pushing desperately despite knowing things don’t “fully connect” anymore. He deserves better and so so those hurt in that attack.

We need to expand the Federal Health & Medical Service and integrate it thru the National Guard to: A. ensure rural & poorly served urban districts are well served, B. US persons get the right training & education C. that we have a more robust surge capability for emergencies.
