Nothing wrong with emotions running high among competitors, but drama for it's own sake isn't in the interest of professionals.

i don't think ppl realize how many bridges they burn and how much hate they're going to receive as soon as they start to slump
I mean there is history in sports of players having drama and beef with eachother but end up joining the same team and moving past it like professionals because they left it at what it was, which is trash talk. Imo it's a great part of competition and should be welcomed.

This is accurate. Trash talk is incredibly useful in competition and most adults can move past it if they play together in the future. Being a professional is playing with those people when the GM makes a decision about the team.

I think it’s a mistake to expect most esports players to behave like traditional sports players. The fan bases are different enough, the staff is different enough, and the player personalities & hangups are DEFINITELY different.
