Actually had the PS2 and Saturn on at the same time. The PS1 version has the edge in graphics, but Natsume did a very good job on Saturn.

You can't see as far in the Saturn version. The PS1 version has a hot-road mirage thing going on.

You lose this music track in the Saturn version, but they give you a horn to honk.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjO2iJzcoEg …

JP PS1 version has different voiceover. Saturn uses voiceover from US version. Also has the additional options (menu music test) of US PS1.

"Tokyo Highway Battle offers up mediocre fare all around," says John Broady of GameSpot back in 1997. http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/tokyo-highway-battle-review/1900-2549841/ …

The US PS1 version gets rid of all the videos of the Drift King and Bandoh talking to you, except the ending.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9gzliu0Z_U …
