Coming off of a really successful five years of raising the urgency on climate and forcing the federal government to deliver bold action, we’re going back to our roots and focusing on building an unstoppable movement to win a Green New Deal.
Our Programs: Green New Deal for Schools. We will bring the movement for the Green New Deal to every student, classroom and school in this country. Together, we will: - Fix our buildings and buses - Force our schools to teach us the truth about the climate crisis - Make student lunches free - Create pathways to green jobs - Ensure our schools have a plan for when climate disaster strikes We're taking over our schools. And with millions of students on our side, we will transform our schools and win a Green New Deal. [Image of activists and school bus]
Our Programs: Green New Deal for Communities We will organize thousands of young people to bring the Green New Deal to cities and towns across the country and win bold climate policies that improve our lives. We'll do that by: - Organizing in the Black, brown and working class communities that have long held our country together - Knocking on doors and talking to our neighbors - Marching in the streets to demand justice - Making our movement impossible for our politicians to ignore Together, we will win free public transportation.
