We've heard nice words and platitudes our whole lives, and we've seen more and more people die each year. If you want to be taken seriously by our generation, you need to commit to real action on the timeline demanded by science and justice.

When will sunrise movement speak to the reality, how are we going to pay for all this?
The cost of climate action is recommended to be 1% of GDP, but the cost of inaction (economic damage from extreme events) means a GDP impact of 5-20%. The real question is “how are we going to pay for climate inaction?”
Besides a jobs guarantee,
we also need to add to the #GreenNewDeal

to people who want to start
#WorkerOwnedCooperative Green businesses.
