    Last night, I was invited to a Zoom call to invest in a Cryptocurrency ponzi scam (I suspect). The main organisers were two Brits, and lots of Brits were on the call. They could be defrauded of £1000s. Who wants to help me to expose this? Don't have bandwidth to do this alone.

    France mandates Netflix and Amazon to invest a big chunk of revenues in French content... entirely reasonable thing to do to prevent culture being swallowed by streaming giants... not everything is a sinister plot

    There's no doubt that lower-than-expected wind has also led to a shortfall in energy supply. But the problem here is that we don't have more wind and solar capacity because we're still relying on fossil fuels.

    We are more reliant on natural gas than we have ever been. And therefore more reliant on Putin's Russia to supply that gas to us and the rest of Europe. This is also a national security failure. (graphs from: )

    This is the price of electricity in Britain today: the highest it has *ever* been. This will badly affect every low income household in Britain. And its happening because we continue to rely on fossil fuels (natural gas in this case) than build our renewable energy capacity

    This is the textbook definition of courage. Afghan women still bravely protest for their rights in front of Taliban literally at gunpoint. Afghan women are taking enormous risks to tell Taliban they won't give up. How about the international community? Will they hear these women?
