Dangerous trends.. Humanity in self destruction mode!

Correction: United States is in self-destruction mode. This is not happening in any other developed nation.
#MarchForOurLives
-
Yeah, completely false. People need to stop pretending we can legislate away socioeconomic and mental health issues. I think
#MarchForOurLives
is great and all but the anti-gun narrative is going after the wrong issue. Tackle the societal issues and violence will fall. -
Your “butwhatabout my poor guns :(“ is the narrative because of which shit like today’s shooting happen. PLEASE understand that having restricted access to gun WILL decrease shootings.

-
I'm guessing you mean overall gun deaths, and yeah. That's like saying if you don't have a car you can't get in a car crash. If your talking gun violence then I don't buy it, gun ownership is up year over year and violence has been going down. The numbers don't add up.
-
Your analogy is a false equivalence. Cars are not meant to kill. Guns are. It's simple. Start with removing the weapons and while that has begun, address the other issues.
-
I guess you didn't understand the comparison, I'm not saying guns vs. cars, I'm saying of course if you eliminated guns gun deaths would go down, it doesn't mean deaths would go down. The goal is to save lives isn't it?
-
Nope - I understood your analogy and it's wrong. You can't say cars are similar to guns. They serve completely different purposes and making that analogy dilutes the truth that guns are meant to kill.

Let's start by letting your fellow co-workers TALK about what happened today. Then I'll listen. YouTube Won’t Let Employees Talk About Shooting at HQ https://thebea.st/2H8kdif?source=twitter&via=desktop … via
@thedailybeast -
This is a normal protocol for most large companies when tragedy strikes. It's to avoid misinformation to the public and skewing of evidence. That "no talk" policy has now been lifted and employees are now free to talk about it
-
That Beast article doesn’t even SAY that anyone was not allowed to talk to the media? Am I misunderstanding or is that utterly sensionalist garbage?

It is a sad day on a day of my Birthday, to find a company that with no regards to safety, with lots money, and they walked right in, to busy counting dollars and not seeing writing on wall. Pray they all be well. Everyone read
#SheepNoMore#CQRF no one protects better than you. -
Are you actually kidding me? You're trying to make this relevant to you by stating it's your birthday, then saying that Google/YouTube has no regards for its employees safety? Did you do any research at all? Just look at the Google Cloud Security Page:https://cloud.google.com/security/infrastructure/design/#security_of_physical_premises …

Don't call me 'sport' - I have no connection with you, and nor want to ever. I'd really love to know how you think Google's failed it's people, and how the idea of introducing more weaponry into society is going to fix this.
-
Before you answer me though, I'd implore you to take a few minutes, get some tea and just relax. You're obviously emotional, with a fair reason, but personal insults isn't the way to achieve a collective success.
-
After you've done that, I'd also love to know what you mean by 'actual Americans'
-
Well I thought it was obvious but ok.. i mean not you!
-
I'm not American at all. And honestly, I'm proud to be Australia. I'm not sure in which period you were taught, but I truely think you'd find enlightenment in learning about global citizenship. It's now become the responsibility of the international community to intervene & help.
