This assumption may actually be accurate, but I find it too depressing to believe and will instead choose to think that many of y’all are capable of having at least as much empathy for victims as you do for abusers.
I think the point is that time away isn't sufficient to make amends, no matter how long.
What everyone seems to have forgotten is that this piece of crap lied about what he did *FOR YEARS*, right up until the stories came out. He wasn't sorry, he was sorry his creepy ass got caught.
