23andme is capable of distinguishing between people with heritage in Sierra Leone vs. Ethiopia. Totally different populations, thousands of miles apart, but Americans with those backgrounds are considered black as an open and shut matter. That is race, and it’s not hereditable.

I am a center-right independent. I have done 23andMe. My genes come from Iceland, Denmark, and England, but if you want to call them "white genes" that's you being racist. It is an artificial grouping. Very artificial, if I'm considered the same group as Egyptians.

It's an artificial grouping, but given no one criticizing it's use by Andrew here sees fit to stop using it as a way of classifying people, I'm afraid the entire argument is contradictory and confused.
