when i finally did quit my A&W job and moved to the "liberal bubble" of the west coast (with help and $$$ from family), i was able to walk down the street with my ex-gf and *not* fear for my life

back in our conservative hometown, the only experience most people had had with couples like us was through porn and chick tracts, so we got shouted at, threatened, harassed, kicked off of city buses
