    If Labour take control of Bolton Council, we will work with the police and local residents’ groups to launch Community Speedwatch Initiatives across the borough. Residents having charge of their streets by Community Speed Watch Schemes with police issue of fines.

    Flying from Schiphol where you arrive by *electric* train amongst all the latest European rolling stock, to Manchester airport where there are pacers waiting at the platform has always been a chastening experience on the numerous occasions I’ve done it.
