Before I left medicine, I stood up and told my story. One of mental illness and burnout as a doctor. The culture of medicine can make it hard to reach out. There is no shame in asking for help, in saying no, in taking time for you.

It was that, 2 1/2 yrs ago, empowered me to start telling my story. I realised that people with mental health problems had a voice and that I wasn't alone. What fantastic work they have done. I am one amongst many to be hugely thankful.

Very saddened by this news. Probably the most significant initiative I have been involved in my career. Has made such a difference to the lives of people affected by mental health problems and to the priority given to mental health. However there is still much to do.

Devastated to hear this. It's hard to put into words what has meant to me over the years. In 2012 I'd just been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was feeling completely overwhelmed. A friend directed me to the TTC website.

Sad to hear that is closing in March. End of era. Huge thanks to & team for everything they have shifted the dial. & showed great leadership. Can’t help feeling it will need reinventing as tackling stigma is far from done.
